Description
Among the villages that make up the town of Livinallongo del Col of Lana, Arabba is without a doubt the most famous. Located in the high Cordevole Valley, surrounded by the walls of the Sella, of Padon, of Col of Lana and the high plain of Cherz, it is a ski station of international fame. The possibilities for skiing are almost infinite.

The many facilities of the area are connected with those of Canazei, in Fassa Valley, with Corvara, in Badia Valley, and with Malga Ciapela, a point of departure for a funicular that goes up the Marmolada. This immense ski area is included in the "Dolomiti Superski" area, whose pass allows one to ski is 12 different areas, for a total of 150 km of slopes, of which 50 have artificial snow. As if this were not enough, Arabba is also a pivotal point in the “Sella Ronda,” the most extraordinary ski carousel of the Dolomites.
For after-ski, we note the skating rink, handicraft shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, and discotheques. Among the gastronomic specialties, we recommend the excellent cheeses and salamis of the valley: ricotta, spess, dry chamois sausages, speck, smoked pork ribs.
