Besides by private taxi (motor boat), you can use the following means of transport to reach the San Marco Palace: - from the airport Marco Polo, every 30 minutes by boat "Alilaguna" to St. Mark's Square to Rialto or St. Mark's Square - from Isola Nuova del Tronchetto (car parking) by public boat Actv lines N (night line) and 82 every 20 minutes during the day - from Piazzale Roma (air-terminal / garage)lines No.1, 82 and (N) (night line) every 10 minutes during the day - from the railway station lines No. 1, 82 and N (night line) every 10 minutes during the day From St. Mark's Square the walking distance is of about 20 meters. |

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms/suites are wonderful and the location can't be beat. Located right off Piazza San Marco,
you are in the heart of Venice. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and we wouldn't hesitate returning to this hotel the next time we are in Venice.

The staff, especially the people at the front desk, were wonderful. Our suite was spacious, the beds comfortable and all appointments (TV, A/C, etc.) worked properly. The dining room is quite beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is only a few steps from Piazza San Marco, so the location is perfect.
