Das Hotel Balbi befindet sich in verkehrsberuhigter Lage, 600 m vom Bahnhof Genova Principe entfernt.
Es liegt im zweiten Stock eines historischen Palazzos und hat keinen Aufzug. Die familiären Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind einfach eingerichtet. Zur Verfügung steht ein ausreichend großer Frühstückssaal, in dem auch ein Aufenthaltsbereich und die Bar untergebracht sind.
Die zweckmäßig eingerichteten Zimmer sind geräumig und besonders für eine junge Klientel oder Familien mit Kindern geeignet. Einige Zimmer besitzen antike, mit Fresken dekorierte Decken. Die Badezimmer können in der Größe variieren, bieten jedoch einen ausreichenden Nutzerkomfort. Vergünstigte Parkmöglichkeit in nahem Parkhaus.
