The Hotel is in Liberty Style has been all finely refurbished in recent years, much more appreciated by one-day customers and, of course, for longer staying. An ideal destination for thermal treatments and point of starting excursion and trips, very suitable also for businessmen finding modern comfort in a friendly atmosphere.

The Hotel CORONA has 20 rooms, all finely furnished and renovated, comfortable and all dispose of bathroom with hairdryier, curtesy set, direct telephone line, TV SAT and minibar.
Our intent is your comfort and we devote ourselves to that end.
We offer you a lavish and complete buffet breakfast to start your holiday or working day with plenty of energy.
Room service is also available on request and in summer it is served in the roses garden.
The cuisine is inspired to the Lucchesia tradition and you will taste a variety of simple but creative dishes matched by great wines, in th erestaurant looking through evocative arched windows at the stream below.

From North there are two possibility:
a) from the Brennero-Verona I suggest to arrive until Sasso Marconi’s gate, and follow the SS.64 "Porrettana" until Porretta Terme. Endured after Porretta Terme is found the village of Ponte alla Venturina, here, before crossing all the town and before the bridge, there is the crossroad on the wright for Pracchia - San Marcello Pistoiese.(16 km of tortuosa but fresh road in free summer ). Once exceeded Pracchia and caught up the crossroad of Ponte Petri to turn to wright for San Marcello Pistoiese exactly; to continue until La Lima and to turn to left (SS.12) for Bagni di Lucca - Lucca. From this road one meets before Bagni di Lucca and Lucca then.
b) the alternative is the highway A1 BO-FI, to Florence North takes to the A.11 FI-Mare Pisa direction; escape Lucca’s gate and follows the indications for 12 SS. Abetone direction. After the 24 km beyond Lucca always maintaining SS.12, the sign is met "Bagni di Lucca ", still 400 m. We are to the beginning of the historical center on the left. ( Htl Corona).
From Milano take the highway A1 to Bologna; turn on the right side, before Parma, to take the highway A15 "Cisa" and you arrive on the highway A12 - "Genova-Livorno" direction Livorno. At the gate "Versilia", take the highway A11 - "Firenze-Mare" direction Firenze, go out at the gate Lucca. You follow the indicator to main street S.S. 12 for Abetone, (you must keep always S.S. 12). After 24 km. far Lucca you arrive in Bagni di Lucca. The hotel is on the main street on the left side (river side).
From Roma take the highway A1 to Firenze Nord and turn on A11 FI-Mare direction Pisa, go out at the gate Lucca. You follow the indicator to main street S.S. 12 for Abetone, (you must keep always S.S. 12). After 24 km. far Lucca you arrive in Bagni di Lucca. The hotel is on the main street on the left side (river side). |

The Restourant CORONA is a formerly an old carriere house dating from the early 1800, today the premises offer an elegant and comfortable Restaurant next to its hotel, located in th ehistorical town of Bagni di Lucca.
The dining room has a relaxing and romantic atmphere, while its arched windows overlook the flowing waters of the Lima River, in front of the Regio Casinò. In the summer time the meals are served in the garden terrace sourrounded by scented rose bushes.
The Cuisine combines traditional dishes using local ingredients with creative techniques. Each dish is a summary of all passion and the detailed care of its patron, Mr Roberto. And his Staff, in ordet to create an unforgettable emotions: savour a variety af breads as well as home-pasta, and freshly prepared fish, tender grilled “Chianina” meats, and delicated desserts.
Great attention is given to the “Cellar”, which has over 220 labels of wines which will accentuete the flavor of every dish and compliment all your meals. Art and Wine seem to go hand in hand. So, you will enjoy drinking wine in the Restaurant’s Art Gallery, a favorite place for Artists. You can taste exceptional vintage in a unusually Art Gallery. |
