| The Residence Hotel "Alla Giudecca" is located in the heart of the historical centre of Siracusa (Island of Ortigia).
The medieval palace is composed of 23 suites, each one composed from one/two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace, are all fully equipped and furnished for the guests comfort, and air-conditioned.
In the underground of the building you may visit the most ancient Miqwè (jewish ritual bath) of Europe dating from the Byzantine era. |

.Arrive to Catania follow the ring road called tangenziale towards Siracusa.
At the end of the ring road follow the blue sign direction Siracusa (SS 114- orientale sicula). Proceed down the SS 114, direction Siracusa for about 45 km till you arrive to a ring road where straight it signs Gela while right it signs Siracusa.
Exit at the Siracusa exit. Go straight ahead till you arrive to a crossing road. From there continue always straight, you will reach the piazza Marconi square.
Go around the fountain in the piazza and take a left onto via Malta. In the end of this street you will see the island of Ortigia. Turn left you will reach the bridge that connect Ortigia to the mainland.
Cross the bridge: you are now in Ortigia. After the bridge, take the 2nd right onto via XX Settembre and than turn immediately left onto largo XXV Luglio. Take the right uphill onto corso Matteotti. (This street is located between Banca Unicredit and United Colors of Benetton) Always straight you will reach Piazza Archimedes, a beautiful square with a big fountain.
Turn around the fountain and take the street on the left, via Maestranza. Follow this street, and just before it ends take a right onto via Nizza.
Proceed, with the sea on your left, until you reach a fork in the road- bear right here, and on your right you will immediately find via Alagona (there is no parking in via Alagona. You may park in via Nizza or in a small square at the junction of via –Nizza e via Alagona).
“Alla Giudecca”-suits residence is at number 52, via Alagona.
