| Badia di Pomaio was built upon the restoration of an ancient monastery of the XVII century and it is now the ideal location for a relaxing and quiet stay at few minutes from the historical centre of Arezzo.
The 19 rooms, comfortable and quiet, are different one from each other and keep the ancient atmosphere , although fitted up with all the modern facilities.
All room are provided with bathroom with shower and hair-drier, TV, air conditioner, phone, mini bar and safety box internet wi.fi
The cuisine offers courses of the local cooking tradition renewed by our chef and supported by a remarkable selection of local and national wines.

Badia di Pomaio is situated on the top of a panoramic hill, kissed by the sun and surrounded by a secular wood, at only 6 Km from the historical centre of Arezzo.

Highway A1 (Milano-Roma):
Take the exit at Arezzo. We are about 19 Km from the exit.
Follow the street signs marked Indications “Arezzo” for about 8 Km
At the first traffic light look for and follow the signs to Perugia, Siena and Sansepolcro;
At each roundabout you continue in an approximately straight line.
You will come to a fly-over-bridge, go over it and turn right. Look for and follow signs for “stadio” and “centro”.
Proceed through the roundabouts, going approximately straight on the main road until you see a sign for “Supermarket Pam”.
Following roundabout, turn left in direction of the PAM Supermarket
At the the traffic light go straight on.
At the the STOP sign, after you pass the supermarket, turn on the right.
After 300 metres you will see a sign for Pomaio, Make a left.
Stay on this asphalt road for about 4 km ( along a winding road through woods).Eventually you will see on your right the entrance for Badia di Pomaio. |
